These diagrams show Japan's air temperature distribution (yearly averages) derived using air temperature changes calculated by computer with the assumption that carbon dioxide discharge levels continue to rise at a yearly rate of 1%.

Looking at the diagrams, the green belt to the north of Japan moves to a higher latitude every year.

For example, temperatures in Nagoya are predicted to rise 2 or 3 degrees over the 100 year period.

As shown, with carbon dioxide discharge levels gradually creeping up as they have been until now, temperatures will rise throughout Japan.
